Travis Mead is taking the helm!
Dick and Judy Rice started Alaska Rescue LLC in 2009. Travis Mead, a long-time student and friend of the Rices, acquired the company in March 2023. Travis is a recently retired firefighter/EMT III with 22 years in emergency response and over 15 years of experience in the field of technical rescue. He looks forward to delivering the same quality training that people have come to expect from Alaska Rescue LLC.
Dick Rice
Alaska Rescue LLC was founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Dick and Judy Rice. Dick has been teaching high quality technical rescue courses in Alaska ever since. For many, Alaska Rescue LLC has become the gold standard in Alaska. Dick has agreed to come out of retirement for the occasional class and we look forward to keeping him around for as long as possible.
